Lindbergh's Reindeer Lake

Hi Folks

Pictured here is Cheryl Simpson, Lindbergh's Expediter in Winnipeg, with a 40" Northern she caught on July 30. Cheryl was fishing with her husband, Rory, and Lindbergh guide Allen Clarke.

John Willin of Towson, MD and his group of 4 fishing Reilly Lake the last 8 days boated 10 Northern over 40". The largest was a 45.5" Northern caught by Ray Feldwick of Phoenix, MD John has fished Reilly a number of years and has also fished Reindeer Lake from the Lodge.

Todays weather: cloudy, mid 60's , occasional showers.

Hi Everyone

A beautiful sunrise over Reindeer Lake and a great view of the waterfalls at Black Rock. These past 8 days have been great. 50 Northerns over 40". The largest was Ron Feley's 48" Northern.

Hi Fishing Friends

Ron Feley, of Chicago, IL. is pictured here with his 43" and 48" Northern he caught yesterday July 29. Bill Feley, of Florence, SC.3rd pic down, shows us his 47" Northern also caught yesterday. Bill and Ron were fising with guide Charlie Clarke.

Charlie is releasing Ron's 43" Northern in the bottom picture. Other than shore lunch all fish are released. CPR Catch, Photo, Release.

Weather today: mid 70's light breeze from the east. Chance of afternoon thunder storms

Hi Folks

Here are Rory and Cheryl Simpson with a pair of 45" Northerns they caught yesterday fishing with guide Allen Clarke. Many of you will recognize Rory & Cheryl. They are Lindbergh's expeditors in Winnipeg. They are out at the airport every change day morning to make sure everything goes smoothly. They also do all the errands in Winnipeg for the Lodge. Cheryl & Rory have been helping us out for 9 years.

Van Edwards of Marion, SC is pictured, top pic, here with a 43" Northern he caught today. Mark Lee of Florence, SC is pictured, bottom pic, with his 43.5" Northern. Mark and Van were fishing with Lindbergh's guide Darwin Clarke.

Weather: Northwest wind 10 - 15 mph, sunny, high of 82

Hello Folks

Robbie Garland of Wolfeboro Falls, NH shows us his 41.5" Northern caught on Reilly Lake on July 21. Robbie and his son Wayne also spent some time Lake Trout fishing and caught this 27.5" Laker.

The bottom picture is Wayne with his 42.5" Northern also caught on July 21.

Doug Burch of Neosho, MO caugh a 44" Northern on Reindeer lake yesterday.

Todays weather: 72 degrees, sunny, westerly winds

Hi Everyone

I know it has been a while since I have posted....sorry but we had a lack of digital camers. I will post a summary of the big fish in the next few days.

The top picture is Ron Feley of Chicago, IL with his 42.5" Northern. The lower picture is brother Bill Feley of Florence, SC with his 40" Northern. Both fish were caught today with guide Charlie Clarke.

Weather: 85 sunny late day rain storm

Hi Folks

Dan Allen, of Perry, OH is pictured here with the 50" Northern he caught at Reilly Lake this past week. He was fishing with his friend Dennis McIntire of Eastlake, OH. Dan & Dennis caught over 1000 fish while fishing Reilly Lake.

There were 43 Northern over 40" caught at Reindeer Lake this past week, the largest being a 48.5" caught buy Jeff Norris of North Olmstead, OH. As well, two 48" a 47.5" , two 47" and two 46" Northern were caught. Bill Dickey of Marissa, IL caught a 33" Laker.

Pictured here is Matt LaMale of Des Moines, IA with his 41" Northern he caught July 5, 2006. Matt was fishing with his father John and uncle Mike. John caught a 47" Northern today and uncle Mike caught a 42"

Hi Folks

The fishing has been great this week but the number of cameras with download cables hasn't been. Let me give you a summary of the big fish caught so far this week.

Joe Scope Jr of Cleveland, OH has caught 9 Northerns over 40" the largest being a 43"

Jeff Norris of North Olmstead, OH has also caught 9 over 40" 48.5",2 x 48", 47.5", 2 x 46", 41', 40.5' and a 40"

So far this week our guests have caught 25 Northerns over 40" and we still have 3 days to go !

Hi Folks

As you can see the north counrty has been hot. In fact the entire month of June has been great weather...mid to high 70's and some low 80's with low humidity. With that comes forest fires. Although none where close, we did have a lot of smoke in the air. The above pictures were taken by David Sacks of Chicago, IL on June 30, 2006.

Well the weather changed today...the 80's are gone and its presently 60 degrees with rain showers. That will help the forest fire situation. How about the fishing...today 3 x 40.5", 2 x 41" a 42" and a huge 48" Northern caught by Jeff Norris of North Olmstead, OH. Jeff was using a Bubble Gum Sluggo for the big one.

Last weeks totals: 40 Northern Pike over 40" and 6 Trophy Lake Trout. Of note is the 44" Lake Trout caught on June 24 by Mike Clearman.
