Lindbergh's Reindeer Lake

Hey Folks

Cheryl Simpson, Winnipeg MB, shows us her 43 1/2" Northern she caught 7/26. Rory Simpson caught a 48" Northern today...sorry no photo. Cheryl & Rory and Lindberghs expiditers in Winnipeg.

In the lower pic I am holding up a 44 1/2" Northern I caught today.

Today was mid 70's and sunny...just perfect.

Here are some pics of Ryan & Scott Peterson, Tallmadge OH, who visited Reilly Lake with the Andy Starr group July 7 - 14, 2007. In the top pic Scott holds up his 46" Northern. In the middle pic Ryan holds up a nice Lake Trout and Ryan also shows us a 42" Northern in the lower pic.

Hello Everyone

Jim Hanyak Jr., Charlotte NC, holds up a 42" Northern he caught during his 8 day stay with us. In the middle pic Jim Sr., Englewood FL, shows us his 40" Trophy and in the lower pic Jim Jr. shows us his 43 3/4" Northern. The Hanyaks were fishing with guide Charlie Clarke. Jr & Sr. caught & released 11 Trophy Northerns during their stay.

Hey Everyone

Here is a group photo of the Miller group. From left to right: Jeff Jiras, Dr. Tom Miller, Shannon Skipper, Jason Gaylord, Justin Miller and Steve Clifton.

In the middle pic Shannon Skipper, with help from guide Obert Clarke, holds up the 43" Northern he caught and in the lower pic Justin Miller shows us his 40 1/2" Trophy.

Long time Reilly Lake guests Robbie & Wayne Garland, Wolfeboro Falls NH, departed today after an 8 day stay at Rielly where the father & son caught and released 1116 fish !!!

The Miller group from Ooltewah, TN was here for 4 days from July 22 - 26. In the top pic is Jeff Jirsa with a 40" Northern. In the middle pic Steve Clifton holds up his 43" Trophy and in the bottom pic Jason Gaylord shows us his 40"er.

The weather has cooled down some...today is in the 70's and cloudy.

Rory & Cheryl Simpson, Lindbergh's expediter's in Winnipeg, arrived yesterday for their annual 8 day visit. They landed 4 Trophy Northerns on the first day. In the top pic Cheryl shows us here 40" Northern and Rory is pictured in the lower shot with his 40". Rory & Cheryl are fishing with Head Guide George Clarke.

85 and sunny with 30% hunidity today...perfect !!!

Hey Folks

Rob & Cindy Costigane, Kitchener ON, stayed with us for 8 days and caught 7 Trophy Northerns. Cindy shows a 41 1/2" Northern she caught. Guide Robert Clarke helps Cindy with the big fish. Cindy's largest was a 46 1/2" Northern. In the lower pic Rob checks his tackle with the help of camp dog " Pete". Rob caught a 2 x 41 1/2 a 43 1/2 and 40" on his fly rod.

Today is mid 80's and sunny !!!

Hey Folks

Dana Darlington, top pic, and her father Dave, Kingston ON, show us 2 of the big Northerns they caught during their recent visit to Lindbergh's Reindeer Lake Lodge. Dave & Dana each landed 2 trophy Northerns. Guide Charlie Clarke helped the Darlingtons landing the big fish.

July weather has been beautiful...mid 80's, partly cloudy today.

Hi Folks

What a great day at Reindeer Lake. Not only did we have great weather, 75 and sunny, we had some great fishing. In the top pic Landis Powers, Charleston SC, holds up his 44 1/4" Northern he caught on a 8 weight fly rod. In the lower pic guide Allan Clarke holds up the 46" Northern that Paul Gault, Canton OH, caught.

Landis also caught a 42". Paul Grissom, Sarasota FL, caught 40". Rick Blasi, Kenosha WI, caught a 43 & 46".

This past week the Jorgenson family of Winnipg, MB and Calgary, AB spent a few days with us and caught some great fish. In the top pic Carly Jorgenson shows us the 41 1/2" Northern she caught. Guide Obert Clarke helps Carly with the big fish.

In the lower pic guide Charlie Clarke prepares shorelunch while Lewis Jorgenson, Jasmine Wong and Susan Teasdale talk about the mornings fishing.

Hi There

A couple more wildlife shots...a pair of Bald Eagle chicks huddle together in their nest. According to US Fish & Wildlife their were only 417 nesting pairs of Bald Eagles in the US in 1963 and today their are more than 10,000. I would guess Reindeer Lake has between 25 - 50 nesting pairs of Eagles.

In the lower pic is Tim Rivas, President of the BCB Anglers Club, trying out his new " Fighting Chair" equiped with rod holders, arm rests and a collectors edition Barbie fishing rod !!!

Lindbergh's is a great place for fathers & sons to spend quality time together. Pictured here are Jim & Kevin Wimmer, Richmond VA & Laurel MD, and Jerry & Jerry Jr. Lawson, Richmond VA, bottom pic. The Wimmers & Lawson were here with the BCB Anglers Club.

Scott Washington and his son Silas, Lake Charles LA, were also here this past week with BCB.
