Here we have Bryan Kurilic with his 42.5" Northern he caught today. In the lower pic George Kurilic holds up his 44" Northern. George was fishing with guide Frank Helkett. Today was a great fishing day.

Hey Folks

What a day for Lake trout fishing. In the top pic Gary Wolfe II shows us the 44.5" Laker he caught while fishing with guide Errol Helkett and in the lower pic Bob Faust ,with the help of guide Robert Clarke, shows us his 48" Laker. Tim Rivas also caught a 40" Laker.

Bob's big Laker had a 33" girth...thats 65.3 Lbs on the length/girth charts. Oh and it was Bobs birthday !!!! Happy Birthday !!!!

Doug Wolfe II shows us one of his 4 Trophies he caught June 26. This is a 43" Northern. Gary also caught two 40", a 42" and the 43".

In the lower pic John Wright holds up his 44" Northern. John also caught a 43".

Here are a couple of big Northerns caught on June 26. The top pic has Cuz Boswell with his 41" Northern and his son Nino is in the lower pic with a 43" Northern. Nino also caught two 40.5" and a 41".

In the top pic Tim Rivas holds up his 41" Northern he caught Wednesday June 25. Tim also caught a 40".

In the lower pic Jerry Lawson holds up the 46" Northern he caught while fishing with guide Darwin Clarke. Jerry also caught a 40" Trophy.

16 Trophy Northern caught today !!! Thats a great Northern Day on Reindeer Lake.

Edwin Pries had a great Northern day...he caught 6 Northerns over 40" The biggest was a 44.5" Edwin is pictured here with 2 of the big fish. The lower pic was definately Trophy # 5

Dr. Bill Vildibill, with help from guide Robert Clarke, shows us his 40" Laker. Dr. Bill caught this huge Laker on Sunday June 22nd.

Hey Everyone

In the top pic, Doug DuVal shows us his 40" Northern and in the lower pic Jerry Lawson holds up his 44" Laker. This fish had a 33" girth bringing it in at 59.9 Lbs according to the length/girth charts. Wow....way to go Jerry.

Both fishermen are here with BCB Anglers Club.

Bob Faust holds up his 44.5" Northern he caught Saturday June 21st. Bob is here with the BCB Anglers Club and was fishing with guide Alf Olson.

In the lower pic Gary Wolf Jr. shows us his 41" Northern. This is Garys first trip to Reindeer and Saturday was his first day fishing on the lake...great results Gary !!!

Hey Folks

We are now into the start of our 3rd week. Fishing this year has been Great. This past week, 16 year old Thomas Di Cesare took the top honor of Big Fish of the Week with this beautiful 45" Northern he caught with guide Allan Clarke Jr.

In the lower pic Tom Madigan, shows us his 42" Northern he caught yesterday, June 20, while fishing with guide Jason Johnson.

Today is 75 and sunny, calm.

Tom Fisher shows us his 42.5" Lake Trout he caught June 14. Tom and friend Casey Berry are fishing with guide Darwin Clarke.

Darwin cooks up fresh fish as Casey keeps a close eye on things. Nothing like fresh fish over an open fire !!!

Hey Folks

Alright, John Lamale had a heck of a day Lake Trout fishing...the big ones where 34", 39" and a huge 44". John and his son Matt spend a day fishing the big lunkers and were rewarded with some great fish.

The 44" Laker weighted in at 44 Lbs.

The day started out sunny and warm and then cooled down and clouded over. East winds at 10 - 15

We still have ice on the main part of the lake but the fishing has been great. Reports are the fish are BIG, healthy and feeding !!!

Here is a pic of Pat Gillespie with a 38" Laker he caught yesterday. Pat was fishing with Spencer Grey and guide George Clark.

Matt Lamale caught a 40" Northern as well yesterday...sorry no photo.

In the lower pic you have a great view of the ice thats still on Reindeer. It sure isn't slowing down the fishing.

78 and sunny today light wind from the south. Weathers beautiful...wish you were here !!!

Hey Everyone

Here is Matt Lamale with his 45.5" Trophy Northern he caught yesterday while fishing with his father John and guide Jason Johnson.

In the lower pic we can see just how hungry these fish are after the ice is off. This Northern hasn't even got the fish in his belly and he is biting a lure !!!

65 and sunny today, light breeze from the east.

Hey Folks

Well it only took a few hours and the 1st trophy of the 2008 season is in the books. Spencer Grey from Ontario caught a 43.5" Northern. Spencer was fishing the east shore of Reindeer with guide George Clarke.

The weather was a cool 55 with strong east winds.

Today is mid 60's with a light breeze out of the east.

Hey Folks

I know many of you have been waiting for the daily blog entries to begin. Well this is the second of many to come. Our first guests arrived today and are out fishing. In the top pic Keystone Air's King Air is on short final to our airstrip and in the second pic I am taking off with the first group for Reilly Lake Outpost.

Notice the ice in both pics... the west & east sides of the lake are open with plenty of fishing places. Although 70% of the lake still has ice we have over 600,000 acres of water to fish on this 2,000,000 acre lake !!!! More water than many other lakes without ice.

We have had nice weather but today was cooler...60 and NE winds 10 - 15

Hey Folks

Welcome back to the 2008 season at Reindeer Lake. We arrived at the lodge on May 27 and as you can see the lake is still ice covered.

We have been getting things ready for our first guests that arrive this next Saturday, June 7. We have been breaking ice to be able to use the floatplane to fly guests to the west shore of Reindeer which is ice free. Reilly & MacKenzie Lake are also ice free.

We are looking forward to a great fishing season. If you haven't booked you 2008 fishing vacation please call or email. We still have some great dates open.
